Area calling rates are based on the mileage between the cities you are calling. Refer to the mileage band chart below for the mileage. In order to use the chart, choose the area on the left that you are calling from, and the area across the top that you are calling to. Those cells will intersect and give you a number, which represents the number of miles, or the distance, between the areas you are calling. Using that number, please refer to the Area Calling Rates which shows the time-of-day rate for that specific number of miles. For each area call that you make, rates will be charged on a per-minute and time-of-day basis. The cells with N/A represent local calls.
Customers who use FTC's Area Calling are charged a small fee for processing their area calling billing information. This fee is in addition to the rates you are charged for the specific calls you make. |
