LifeLine Service
Lifeline 150 Service assists qualified residential customers only with their monthly local telephone service. The current Lifeline credit amount is $13.50. (Amount is subject to change.) The Lifeline assistance program automatically applies Federal and State credits to the local service telephone bill of qualified subscribers each month.
Link Up America
Link Up America is available to qualified residential customers only. If you qualify for Link Up service, you will receive a 50% discount off the normal one-time installation charge to connect your home telephone service. The Link Up credit amount may vary based on the particular installation or service the customer requires. However, the credit amount for installation and connection will not exceed $30.00. This credit is automatically applied to your first telephone bill only. For additional information or specific charges, please contact our business office.
To find out whether you qualify for either Lifeline or Link Up assistance, customers must fill out standard forms, available at FTCs office, as mandated by the Federal and/or State government. FTC is not responsible for determining who qualifies for these programs or who receives assistance. Customers must meet specific criteria in order to obtain assistance with their local telephone service, and qualifying is dependent upon government-established guidelines. To qualify for either Lifeline or Link Up credit, each customer must apply and authorize agency verification of their participation in Medicaid.
