FTC Internet Services > Customer Service

Farmers Telecommunications Cooperative is dedicated to being your local telecom provider. Farmers wants our members and customers to know that we remain committed to bringing you the highest quality services and care — no matter your specific telecom needs. Since we began bringing telephone service to the Sand Mountain region 51 years ago, we’ve maintained a simple philosophy that all members should be treated courteously and with respect, and be served to the very best of our ability. It’s a philosophy that has suited us well, as many of you are much more than just customers — you’re our friends too!

Through dependable local and long-distance services, as well as our exciting high-speed DSL Internet and wireless offerings, FTC is your one-stop-shop for all your telecommunications needs. In addition to our commitment to serve and promote our area, FTC firmly believes in the benefits that technology offers through advanced telecom services. One of the most important advantages of these new technologies is keeping us all connected to each other and the world — and we’re proud to "keep you connected."

FTC offers services equal to — if not better than — those available in most urban markets. Likewise, it’s our goal to respond to your questions and requests in prompt, courteous fashion. As a telecom provider, we realize we must offer reliable and affordable services that improve our members’ lives and that enable our communities to thrive. And, as a partner on the local scene, we want to make you aware of the role we play in economic growth and prosperity here in northeastern Alabama. After all, success is a two-way street — and ours depends on yours.

Still, at the end of the day, our job is to meet your telecom needs — and that means actively listening to you. We hope that you’ll take comfort in the fact that you can deal with us right here, "face-to-face" — not through an automated answering system or a distant service center. Not only do we encourage you to you call, but we remind you that if you’re looking for us, we’re just down the road.

Farmers Telecommunications Cooperative plans to continue serving DeKalb and Jackson counties through our FTC service lines for years to come. Our history is rich, and we are proud that our success as a service provider will bring benefits to the lives of those here in the community and help keep you connected.
